Audio Producer & Writer

Tasha Sandoval is a bilingual audio producer, journalist, and writer based between Bogotá and New York City. Her audio work has appeared on WNYC and NPR programs as well as Futuro Media’s flagship radio program, Latino USA. She helped produce the award-winning podcasts La Brega, My Divo, Stars and Stars with Isa, and Humo: Murder and Silence in El Salvador, as well as Chess Piece: The Elián González Story. She produces historian Geraldo Cadava’s author interview podcast Writing Latinos.

Tasha is a graduate of the bilingual master’s program at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at the City University of New York, where she concentrated in audio reporting. She is a Mentor for the National Association of Hispanic Journalist’s (NAHJ) Student Project program. Her essays and criticism have appeared in Catapult, Sound Fields Journal, and Public Books among others. Before pivoting to journalism, Tasha traveled across Latin America for her work in selective college admissions.
